SFYBL - Need A Team |
There are three ways to get on an SFYBL team:
1) Through a SF Rec & Park Recreation Center - Many Rec & Park rec centers throughout the city will have SFYBL teams in various grade divisions. You can contact your nearest or any SF Rec & Park recreation center and inquire if they will have a team in your child's grade division you can sign up for.
2) Getting on a non-Rec & Park SFYBL team through word of mouth. - Not all SFYBL teams are affiliated with Rec & Park Rec Centers. There are many teams started by dads, moms, and other eager people. If you know somebody who has an SFYBL team in the desired grade division, you can ask them to be on it.
3) If you are unable to find a team by either of the two methods above; our league commissioner, Joe Hallisy, has a voice mail number (which he will frequenty check once registrations begin) for people to leave messages requesting team placement. Last season, we were able to place all 90+ kids who requested team placement.
